Food has always been one of my favourite subjects to photograph — not just because it’s beautiful, but because every dish carries its own personality. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been building a new visual style in the studio: clean layouts, bold vertical titles, soft handwritten taglines, and bright, intentional colour.
This series is the first full collection in that style. Six plates. Six moods. Six little stories told through food.
LEMON
A squeeze of sunshine, plated simply and photographed with a warm, bright palette. This one set the tone for the whole series — clean, fresh, editorial.
PASTA
Soft light, sculpted shadows, and a rustic Italian comfort vibe. A dish that feels like home, but photographed with a modern twist.
MINT
Dark, moody chocolate paired with fresh mint tones. A classic flavour combination turned into a rich, dramatic studio moment.
OLIVE
Mediterranean warmth — bread, herbs, oil, and texture. Earthy tones and a layout that feels like a café menu waiting to happen.
BEETS
Bright, light, colourful, and summery. A plate that practically glows, photographed to celebrate freshness and vibrancy.
SOUP
Rich, bold, wintery comfort. Tomato soup photographed with deep reds, warm bread, and a cosy seasonal mood — the perfect contrast to the brighter plates in the series.

I wanted to create a layout style that cafés and restaurants could use for:

Something clean, modern, and instantly recognisable — a visual identity that makes food look intentional and premium.
