Dance and Movement Photography

Dance is the art of motion, and photography is the art of holding that motion still.

My dance work is created here in Newcastle, shaped by light, timing and the quiet discipline of watching for the exact moment a gesture becomes something more. I look for the lines that stretch, the breath between movements, the strength beneath the softness — the places where technique and emotion meet.

Whether it’s classical ballet, contemporary movement or experimental performance, I aim to create images that honour the dancer’s craft and reveal the story inside the motion.
