For years I’ve been drawn to two very different moods in photography. Whether I’m photographing dancers, pets, or food, I find myself returning to the same creative fork in the road:

And for a long time, I worried that exploring both might confuse people. Would clients look at my work and wonder what they’d get? Would they think one style was “right” and the other was “wrong”? Would they feel unsure about how the final artwork would look on their wall?

But the more I photographed, the more I realised something important:

Choice isn’t confusing — it’s empowering.

Every home has its own personality. Every pet has its own presence. Every dancer has their own energy. Every dish has its own mood.

And no single style fits every subject, every space, or every person.

So instead of forcing myself into one lane, I decided to embrace both.
